Storyline Magazine

Fall/Winter 2026

Storyline is the Oak Park Public Library’s biannual print magazine. It is mailed to every household in Oak Park, IL and reaches over 55,000 people.

This issue highlighted:

  • The success of this year’s Friends Book Fair and how the funds are used to sponsor community events

  • How local musicians Antonia Ruppert and Robert Lewis use the library’s audio booth to record and produce music

  • Six ways that library patrons can make and enjoy music at the library, from checking out a guitar to free online music lessons

  • Five teen interns and how they prepare for college and career with a summer library internship

What I do: I direct the visual style and layout of the magazine and collaborate closely with the magazine’s editor and writer to plan content.
