Storyline Magazine

Spring/Summer 2026

Storyline is the Oak Park Public Library’s biannual print magazine. It is mailed to every household in Oak Park, IL and reaches over 55,000 people.

This issue highlighted:

  • The RiverSong quilt exhibit in the library’s art gallery with a feature story about the exhibit’s organizer, artist Lindsay Olson

  • The library’s offerings for older adults, especially the monthly Coffee Hour

  • A documentary filmmaking project (“Lights, Camera, Community”) created by teens at the library

  • All the book discussion groups that meet regularly

What I do: I direct the visual style and layout of the magazine and collaborate closely with the magazine’s editor and writer to plan content.
